जनरल बिपिन रावत बोले, अब स्वदेशी हथियारों से लड़ने का वक्त आ गया है
सोमवार को आर्मी चीफ बिपिन रावत ने एक बार फिर भारतीय सेना में, भारत में ही निर्मित हथियारों के इस्तेमाल की बात कही। जनरल रावत ने यह बात आर्मी टेक्नोलॉजी सेमिनार को संबोधित करते हुए कही।
राजधानी दिल्ली में संबोधन के दौरान आर्मी चीफ ने कहा कि हमारी सेना में आधुनिकता की बहुत जरूरत है। भविष्य में युद्ध बहुत कठिन परिस्थितियों में होंगे, हमें इसके लिए तैयार रहना है। साथ ही आर्मी चीफ ने कहा कि हमें अब आयात से दूर जाना है और सुनिश्चित करना है कि देश में बने हथियारों का प्रयोग किया जा सके।

बिपिन रावत ने कहा कि हमें हल्के वजन के बुलेट प्रूफ हथियार और ईंधन सेल तकनीक की जरूरत है। हमें पूरी उम्मीद है कि अगर हमें इंडस्ट्री का सपोर्ट मिलता है तो हम इस राह में एक कदम और आगे बढ़ेंगे।

उल्लेखनीय है कि मेड इन इंडिया के तहत लगातार देश में हथियारों को बनाने का काम चल रहा है और पिछले कुछ समय में ऐसी डील हुई हैं, जो कि देश में ही हथियारों को बनाना या असेंबल करने का काम करेंगी। इससे पहले रावत ने कहा था कि पिछले कुछ समय में घाटी के हालात ठीक हुए हैं, घुसपैठ में कमी आई है। उन्होंने कहा कि हमने आतंकियों को सीमा पर मारा है, उसकी वजह से सुधार आया है,अंदरुनी हालात भी लगातार सुधरे हैं
